UPDATE: it turns out this was an april fools hoax. I've started my own underground CD label, Beautiful Music, really just as an excuse to re-release my favorite album of 2011(or was it 2010?)- Jordan Piper Phillips'  "Back To Sleep". Mr. Phillips, in his many incarnations (Bruce Hart, Blanche x3, Horse Boys, etc..) made several albums of worth the last few years but this one has really stuck with me. besides the outstanding original songs this album also features cover songs buy such names as Dave Berry, Royal Trux, Ariel Pink, and the Cure, as well as a series of micro cassette recorded piano ditties. 50 copies of the Cd will be availible April fools day and will cost anywhere from $0- $5. i'm also planning on using nontraditional methods of music distribution such as media dropping, reverse pickpocketing and catapult. keep your eyes to the skies.
